Our Teachers' Network is designed to support collaboration between KS4 and KS5 teacher of mathematics. Meetings are held after school, once a term and are free to attend. At this meeting, Margaret Harding (FMSP) will lead a session looking at problem solving questions and what is known so far about the changes to the Mathematics A levels with a focus on Mechanics and how this will impact on schools.
These questions will be considered:
- A) What is problem solving?
- B) What are the implications for teaching, planning, development, resourcing?
- C) How can prepare students for them?
Please arrive no later than 5:45pm, for a prompt 6:00pm start - Tea, coffee and biscuits will be provided!
