Workshop aim
A unique opportunity to access high quality CPD to support you with the delivery of the Cambridge Nationals Health and Social Care qualification (R021). This workshop will provide you with expert input focusing on the analysis of student performance in the summer exams.
Workshop content
• Review examiner feedback to avoid common pitfalls
• Discover top tips for your students to produce successful answers
• Improve student performance all round with sample answers across level boundaries
• Mark and discuss candidate responses to develop your use of exam board question papers and mark scheme
Programme delivery
This workshop will be delivered by Anita Hardy. Anita is a Senior Assessor with OCR with many years of experience working for this exam board and as an assistant Headteacher in an academy. She has been involved in the development and delivery of Cambridge Nationals Child Development, Health and Social Care and GCSE Food Preparation and Nutrition. Anita’s roles include leading both examining and moderating teams for these three qualifications, delivering CPD training events for OCR and Hodder’s Education around the UK, and she is also a Consultant Editor for Hodder Education, most recently working on the OCR GCSE Food Preparation and Nutrition and Cambridge Nationals Child Development textbook.

The workshop will be held on Friday 30 November at Uffculme School, EX15 3AG from 10.00am to 3.00pm. Lunch and refreshments will be provided.
