Dave Gale from Churchill Academy in Somerset will be leading our next FREE-to-attend network meeting in November. You can find Dave at https://reflectivemaths.wordpress.com/ or on Twitter:@reflectivemaths.
At this meeting we will be focusing on what it means to teach problem solving: Does the way in which you teach mathematical problem solving differ significantly from your day-to-day teaching of mathematics and, if so, how? How do your students respond and how do you track their progress in this particular respect? Where do you turn to look for inspiration/idea/support?
The Exeter Teacher Network is an AMSP-funded project, allowing teachers of Mathematics to meet, collaborate and to share best practice. We meet termly and the programme is a mixture of informal sessions and speaker-led training events.
